Anna grew up in East Africa and Immigrated to Canada in 1971 where she worked as a Registered Nurse for 30 years.
Anna’s love for the Rocky Mountains and wild flowers inspired her to take up watercolor painting in 1991. Her first classes were with Pat Jones at the Leighton Art Centre, a rural gallery and school overlooking the foothills of Alberta . Since then she has taken numerous classes with prominent artists across Canada and the United States as well as classes at the Alberta college of Art.
Her art has been inspired by the backcountry hikes and skis she has done. Now living in Canmore she loves to paint outdoors.
